your guide for the weekend

Certified Yoga Instructor · Trauma-Informed Wellness Guide · Retreat Leader

500+ women guided through my classes

I'm a certified yoga instructor and trauma-informed wellness guide with a passion for creating inclusive, healing spaces — especially for women in recovery. My journey with yoga began in 2015 as a personal step toward self-love and healing. I've since turned that passion into a profession by teaching, mentoring, and guiding others through gentle movement, breathwork, and embodied connection.

My teaching style is rooted in slowness, intentionality, and compassion. I specialize in private yoga instruction, trauma-sensitive cueing, guided breathwork, and mindful stretching practices. I'm also a retreat leader and founder of Sara Taylor Wellness, where I lead immersive group experiences focused on healing through movement, stillness, and connection.

Whether I'm working 1:1 or guiding a group, my goal is to meet people exactly where they are — and guide them toward their infinite, authentic self.
“This retreat is the experience I've been dreaming of building — three days of everything I do, with women I'd want at my kitchen table.” — Sara

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this experience for?

Women who are ready to disconnect, reconnect, and remember themselves. You'll be among 25 like-minded women — come solo and make friends, or bring your closest besties and share a room. No experience required for any practice; everything is optional.

What does “saloon-style” lodging mean?

Cozy, bunkhouse-style lodge rooms with single, double, and triple options. Think historic Missouri lodge meets girlfriend slumber party.

I have dietary restrictions. Can Chef Sheri accommodate?

Yes. Meals are Ayurvedic-inspired and gluten-free friendly by default. We'll ask about allergies and sensitivities when you reserve so Chef Sheri can plan accordingly. Let us know about anything else when you book.

How off-grid is “off-grid”?

Cell service is limited, which is the point. You'll have power, A/C, and running water in your room. Bring a real book. We'll have signage and an on-site point of contact for anything urgent.

What should I pack?

Comfy clothes for movement and lounging, layers for cool September evenings, a swimsuit, water shoes for the river float, a journal, an instrument if you play one, a flashlight, and any items that bring you comfort (favorite blanket, photos, etc.). A full packing list goes out two weeks before arrival.

How do I reserve my spot?

Click any Reserve button on this page to go straight to our booking page, where you can secure your spot and pay your deposit. Space is limited to 25 women. Early-bird pricing ($525) is reserved for the first 10 women to commit, so the sooner you book, the better the rate. Questions before you book? Email Sara directly — link in the footer.

What's your refund / cancellation policy?

Please ask when you reserve — we'll send our current cancellation policy along with your registration form.
